Every Service Engagement must set up the required Service Delivery Environment as early as possible. The tools selected
for the Service Delivery must be installed, integrated and tested. The Team must have easy access to the tools,
platforms and technologies used for Service Delivery. A clear plan of all requirements and any related security
processes must be created if the Client provides parts of this environment.
The Delivery Team must have access to technology configuration items and knowledge objects obtained from the Client as
well as produced during the lifetime of the engagement. The methods for managing these technology configuration items
and knowledge objects are described in the Technology Asset And Configuration Management and Technology Knowledge
Management streams respectively.
